What to expect during your office visit?
While many things have changed, one thing remains the same – our commitment to your safety. Infection control is always a top priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are implemented to make sure your care is safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the ADA, CDC, OSHA, and the PA Department of Health.
You may see some additional changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to protect our patients and team.
You may be asked to fill out a new electronic health history form, either by email or text prior to your next visit. In addition to your health history, you will be asked some screening questions. We are trying to remove all paper from our dental operatories.
When arriving to your appointment, please stay in your car and call the office from the parking lot. This will allow us to prepare your room and to avoid having you wait in the reception area. If you receive our voicemail when calling, please come up to our reception area at your scheduled appointment time. Since we are trying to reduce the number of patients in the office at one time, please do not bring any extra people with you to your appointment.
We kindly ask you to wear a mask when coming in the office. If you do not have a mask, please let us know and will provide one for you.
As you walk to your operatory, you will notice that we have installed more air purifiers throughout the entire office. We have always had air purifiers in the operatories. Now we have placed air purifiers in other areas of the office.
You will notice that we look a bit different these days. We are now wearing gowns, double masks, face shields, and head coverings. This is all to protect you and our team.
Please be patient with us, as the appointment times will take longer to allow for social distancing between patients. We will do our best to accommodate all of our patients.
